Carinya Kitchen is situated in the picturesque rural township of Bass. 

We are a small, self-sufficient farm and run classes introducing people to the basic phillosophies of living self-sufficiently.  Classes include basic bread making, cheese making, pasta making, bottling & preserving, how to make a mediterranean meal, healthy hearty soups, slow cooked rabbit and more..... 

At Carinya Kitchen, we realise that not everyone has the ability to produce their own produce so we have developed a line of produce which we are proud to make available at the markets we frequent.  This range includes jams, chutney, cordials, syrups, infused oils, sauces, and a range of preserves.  Our products are home-grown and homemade.  They contain nothing artificial and are made "just like grandma used to make".  For more information about these products visit our website at www.carinyakitchen.webs.com or talk to us.

Our self-sufficient lifestyle also includes a range of small animals, such as chickens, ducks, rabbits and quail.  We are also able to make these live animals available to people subject to seasonal availability.
