The Lancefield Farmers' Market was established in March 2003 by the community of Lancefield, is community based and coordinated through the Lancefield Neighbourhood House.
The market has up 40-50 stalls depending on season and prides itself on a great selection of fresh produce, mostly organically produced alongside regional wines, honey, eggs, bread, pastries, fruit trees, herbs, live poultry, stockfeed, lucerne, preserves, fresh pasta, olive oil & emu oil products, cheeses, meat, puddings and more.
A community BBQ has local meats cooking & vegetarian foods available.
The town of Lancefield is home to cafes, art galleries, bakery, butcher, great bookshop, antiques & the best vanilla slices are available from the milkbar.
