Riddells Creek Farmers Market Sat 18^th May

Here’s hoping for some more stunning weather for our May market…last month was truly glorious, but I think it might be wise to start donning the hats and coats for our cold mornings here in the Ranges! If you were at the Riddell market last month you would have seen the unveiling of our new mobile demonstration kitchen, an exciting addition to the Macedon Ranges Farmers Markets. Already used now and Lancefield and Riddell, it will be available at all four markets to showcase the seasonal produce with local and/or celebrity chefs cooking up a storm during the day.

Also make sure you check out our facebook page, “like” us to keep up to date on news and events and enter our cooking competition! It’s easy, just post us a photo and brief description of a meal you cook using produce from the market…..the most delectable entry will get a special prize!

As always you will find beef, lamb, pork, seasonal fruit and vegetables, honey, olives and olive oil, eggs, bread, pastries (and the ever popular “Bureks”), live poultry and emu oil products, homemade fresh pasta and sauces, beer, wine, jams and preserves, alpaca fleeces and garments….the market has it all! Bring your bags and baskets, have a coffee, enjoy a gourmet Warialda snag from the barbie, listen to some live music and catch up with friends while kids get their faces painted for free.
