Australia’s only Slow Food convivium-run farmers’ market started in October 2006 . The market meanders through the grounds of the magnificent Abbotsford Convent.
The market reflects Slow Food’s simple ‘good, clean, fair’ philosophy with sixty growers and food producers’ invited for their quality of produce, integrity of production methods and true value for money straight back into the hands of Victorian farmers.
Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome. The market operates in all weather; rain, hail or shine!
